Last minute Thanksgiving recipe!

Ran out of ideas for something to make that everyone will like? No problem, make some cornbread!

Walt and Sarah’s Buttermilk Cornbread

1/4 cup butter (half a stick)
1/3 cup sugar
1/2c applesauce
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk (I use powdered buttermilk and water)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt

Mix everything together and bake in an 8×8 pan for 25-30 minutes, or until you can stick a chopstick in the middle and it doesn’t come out goopy.
